The company Humain, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and focused on delivering comprehensive AI capabilities worldwide, is moving to reshape the business process outsourcing sector through a new agreement with global professional services firm EY. The partnership aims to develop the first AI-native business process outsourcing service in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leveraging Humain's integrated technology platform to reinvent corporate operations management and expand its scope in the digital age.
The initiative seeks to create an entirely new category of technology-enabled business services that combine intelligent agents, automation and advanced analytics with human expertise within unified operating models. Under the agreement, EY will support the development and commercial marketing of Humain's solutions, as well as provide the platform with functional expertise, sector knowledge and market-entry strategies. In return, Humain will supply the AI infrastructure and core technologies, along with the intelligent-agent system that runs the next generation of enterprise services.
Comprehensive operating platform replacing discrete toolsAt the core of this alliance is the Humain One platform, an integrated agent-based AI system designed to help organizations deploy intelligent workflows, autonomous agents and automation across various executive functions. Tarek Amin, chief executive officer of Humain, notes that AI redefines what organizations can achieve, not merely how they operate, explaining that building a unified operating model with EY that blends agents, automation and human expertise will enable companies to make better decisions, act more quickly and generate new sources of value, turning AI from a mere assistance tool into the essential operating layer for firms, originating in Saudi Arabia and extending to global markets.
On the professional-application level, Raj Sharma, global managing partner for growth and innovation at EY, explains that a company's competitive advantage no longer stems from abstract technology alone, but from its confident, reliable and practical implementation that guarantees lasting corporate value. Similarly, Abdulaziz Al-Suwailim, chairman and chief executive of EY Middle East and North Africa, sees this move as leveraging the firm's full professional depth, including finance, audit, tax and consulting capabilities, to feed and evolve the Humain One platform, integrating AI capabilities into the core of end-to-end integrated workflows rather than keeping them in isolated streams, thereby reducing operational complexity and enabling organizations to maximize the return on their existing technology investments.
Redefining the outsourcing model in regional marketsThis shift imposes a practical change on business leaders and executives in the Gulf, Egypt and neighboring countries, especially those who have relied for years on traditional outsourcing based on intensive manual labor and separate work hours. With the advent of self-service outsourcing systems that use intelligent agents, the cost of administrative, accounting and consulting operations moves downward, putting traditional outsourcing providers at a decisive juncture to upgrade their capabilities. For a technology or finance officer, assessment will no longer be limited to selecting standalone software for each department, but will require examining how well the organization's infrastructure can accommodate integrated operating platforms that handle tax and audit workflows smoothly and without cumulative errors.
The partnership confirms that the competition for value in AI technologies is rapidly shifting from merely building foundational models to embedding them into the core of daily operational activities, where the true benchmark for success becomes an organization's ability to reduce administrative waste and link human expertise with intelligent agents within a single, reliable work environment.
