What a partner can buy, and what is never for sale

How we label paid content

• Every paid article, announcement or page carries Sponsored at the top, and «محتوى برعاية» in the Arabic edition.
• Links in paid content are marked for search engines as sponsored links.
• When an issue, section or AIG Hub page is sponsored, the sponsor is named with "Presented by".
• Referral links that earn us a commission are disclosed in the article itself.
• A review requested and funded by the company says so at the top.
• Our interviews are written: guests receive our questions in writing, send their answers, and we publish them as written.

What no partner can buy

• Our editorial coverage: we do not publish, remove or reword a story because an organisation paid or declined to pay.
• The right to review editorial text before publication, in commissioned special editions and sponsored reports.
• The findings of reports and data: the sponsor funds the work; we set the method and the results.
• The choice of Voice writers or their texts.
• A review verdict: a company that requests a review funds the evaluation but does not own or preview the result.
• A place as an interview guest: we choose our guests and write our own questions, and a paid slot is offered only after an interview is agreed.
• Paid placement without a label, or a paid link presented as an editorial one.

What a partner is entitled to

• To check facts about its own product or service in a sponsored article before publication.
• To know in advance where its content will appear, when, and for how long.
• A correction of any factual error after publication, as we correct our own editorial content.

What we decline

We do not accept paid content that misleads readers, promises what the advertiser does not offer, or breaks the law in the countries of the region. We may decline any sponsorship request without giving a reason.
