The Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival opens its current session in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi, and continues until August 23, 2026, daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) leads the participation with the AI and Innovation World pavilion, which offers a six-week organized program, from July 6 to August 13, designed for different age groups and completely free for festival ticket holders.
At the heart of the program:A practical curriculum for youth from 15 to 18 years old, supervised by MBZUAI staff, faculty, students, and graduates, covering prompt engineering, creative generation of text and images, AI in games, and turning a technical idea into a startup. Each participant receives a certificate of participation.
The program concludes with the AI Challenge in the final week, where youth teams develop AI-based solutions to real problems in education, healthcare, and sustainability, and present their prototypes to a judging panel. In addition to the youth track, AI Talks are held, open to families and the general public, exploring how AI is reshaping daily life and vital sectors.
National partnerships participate in leading the tracks: Abu Dhabi Gaming, the Youth AI initiative of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council, and Young AI Leaders (YAIL), to cover games, creative industries, youth leadership, and entrepreneurship.
