BRKZ, a Riyadh-based platform that digitizes construction material purchases, raised $31 million in a new financing round that combines equity and debt instruments to strengthen pricing algorithms and operational automation in a sector that has relied for decades on manual transactions and fragmented negotiation. The round includes $13 million of Series B equity led by the Aramco-affiliated Waad Ventures Fund and the 500 Global fund, with participation from Pico Capital and ANB Capital, alongside a financing commitment of $18 million as growth debt from Stride Ventures, representing part of a prior $30 million credit facility, bringing the company’s total capital raised since its 2022 founding to more than $70 million across equity and debt.
This financing momentum arrives as Saudi Arabia’s construction sector faces growing pressure to deliver major projects on schedule, with the platform linked to material supply for large projects such as the Red Sea, Diriyah, Qiddiya, Rusun, and King Salman Park. Company operating data shows an accelerating growth trajectory, with revenues expected to triple by 2026 after a 2.5-fold annual increase in 2025, while serving more than 1,500 contracting firms and 150 construction-material manufacturers, and a network of roughly 2,100 local and international suppliers. Cumulative sales have exceeded $133 million and the platform has processed bid requests worth over $1.37 billion.
The fundamental transformation driven by the platform does not stop at linking suppliers with contractors, but goes beyond tobuilding an intelligent inference layer that reprices materials instantlyIt also reduces the cost of complex transactions. Over three years, the company built a database containing about 38 million structured data points covering more than 13 thousand product records, and trained on it a pricing engine powered by AI models that analyzed 40 thousand past pricing requests to forecast purchase and sale prices and recommend the most suitable supplier for each deal. Operational results show that between 84 % and 89 % of price forecasts fall within 5 % of the actual transaction price, shortening lengthy pricing cycles to near-instant actions without removing human oversight by procurement teams.
The deployment of digital agents extends to the core of daily operations on site and in the warehouse, asthe automated agent “Nosa” processes bulk cement shipments autonomouslyBy reviewing images of delivery notes sent by drivers via WhatsApp, matching them with purchase orders, verifying quantities and closing transactions in the system, three quarters of delivery notes are now completed without manual intervention except in exceptional cases. The platform also relies on analyzing customers' credit and historical behavior to propose payment terms and integrated financing solutions, which gives contractors critical cash-flow flexibility while the finance team retains final approval authority.
For contracting firms and supply-chain departments in the Gulf and Egypt, this development shifts the competition from individual relationships and chasing manual price quotes to procurement management based on real-time data. The project executive no longer needs to waste days reconciling cement and steel invoices between supplier and carrier, but is now required to master digital sourcing platforms, link purchase plans with integrated financing systems, and take advantage of the direct supply lanes the platform opens with major manufacturing hubs in China and India to avoid global supply-chain volatility and reduce material costs by pre-measurable percentages.
The company, which earlier in 2026 received a undisclosed strategic investment from “SIC”, the investment arm of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, plans to deploy the new liquidity to deepen vertical integration from raw-material sources to final delivery, while keeping its current round open to additional strategic partners, in a clear affirmation that digitizing infrastructure procurement has become a decisive condition for controlling costs and accelerating the pace of execution in the region.
