Cogent DX unveiled in Dubai, during a specialized technology summit that brought together over one hundred senior leaders and executives from the public and private sectors in the UAE, its new enterprise platform "Cortex", alongside the launch of a dedicated studio for visual content and film production, in an effort to develop intellectual property and technical solutions locally and launch them into regional and international markets.
The new platform focuses on bridging the gap between exploratory AI experiments and scaled operational deployment within enterprise structures, aggregating leading global large language models under a single corporate subscription and employing a unified wallet system that charges based on actual consumption, and it enables linking these models to internal knowledge bases and companies' daily workflow tools while providing a secure, governance-compliant environment that integrates the capabilities of independent agents and digital employees and allows full customization of the corporate brand.
Alaa Delghan, the company's founder and CEO, affirmed during the platform demonstration that the approach is centered on embedding AI into the broader work environment to boost operational efficiency and support decision-making rather than treating it as a separate technology."The region is required to be a producer of technology, not merely a consumer of it"This vision was echoed in the opening remarks delivered by Hani Khalaf, chief technology officer at Dell Technologies, which addressed the role of intelligent agents and generative technologies in driving the digital economy.
Creatively, the company launched "Cogent AI Studio" to employ generative algorithms in producing films, advertisements, series, and virtual digital characters, and showcased an initial short film that was entirely produced using AI during the event. The company demonstrated that intelligent agents can multiply daily productivity by tenfold, moving from simply responding to written commands to undertaking fully integrated executive tasks that support administrative and operational processes.
The corporate shift from model testing to agent deployment places technology leaders in the Gulf, Egypt, and the region before new structural demands.Merging multiple models into a single invoice and wallet reduces financial waste caused by separate subscriptions across teams, but it shifts the workload to internal data architecture, as a digital employee cannot perform its tasks without strict file governance and direct integration with operational APIs. At the same time, automating creative production puts direct pressure on advertising and media agencies in major production hubs such as Dubai, Riyadh, and Cairo to reconsider project costs and delivery speed, making the currently required skill the management and auditing of software-agent outputs rather than reliance on traditional execution chains.
