Saudi firm Humain and French artificial intelligence company Mistral have announced a strategic partnership covering infrastructure, advanced model development, and the deployment of AI solutions across the Kingdom and the wider region. In its initial phases, the alliance focuses on specific domains including cybersecurity and voice solutions, alongside plans to build flagship models with advanced Arabic language processing capabilities to support regional needs, in a partnership valued in the hundreds of millions of euros.

This collaboration fits into a broader expansion of investment and technology partnerships between Riyadh and Paris across advanced infrastructure and deep tech, where the focus is shifting toward integrating specialist companies into the value chains of major projects rather than merely importing products, a trend also visible in integrated technical fields including research and development and operational efficiency applications across the energy and industrial sectors.
