Partnership between Magna AI and MBUZZ to build AI factories and localize its infrastructure in the Middle East and Africa

AI investments in the region are moving beyond the model-exploration phase toward building heavy infrastructure capable of moving applications into production and operational environments. In this context, Magna AI, a company specializing in sovereign AI transformation and emerging from a partnership between Trend Micro and Western Digital Technology Group and supported by Nvidia technologies, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with MBUZZ, a Saudi-based firm specializing in ICT infrastructure integration, to provide AI infrastructure and enterprise transformation services across Middle East and Africa markets.

The partnership aims to combine Magna AI’s capabilities in enterprise enablement with MBUZZ’s expertise in linking and aligning hardware across compute networks, storage units and high-performance computing. According to IDC, the Middle East and Africa region is the fastest-growing globally in the pace of AI infrastructure investment, driven by enterprises and governments shifting from isolated pilot projects to embedding intelligent systems into core operational processes, where the question is no longer limited to accessing models but extends to building measurable investment returns.

Transition to actual production environmentsIt requires a comprehensive reset of data pipelines, governance and regulatory compliance, which the new alliance focuses on by offering services that start with readiness assessments and transformation road-mapping, extending to the design and construction of AI Factories and specialized data centers. These environments will support advanced workloads that include training large enterprise models, fine-tuning them, running inference operations, and developing agentic AI applications within security and operational frameworks that ensure business continuity and protect sensitive data.

This alliance reflects an immediate operational reality for companies, banks and government institutions in the Gulf, Egypt and the Levant, as managing enterprise AI models is no longer separate from the reliability of local infrastructure and its integration with sovereign data-preservation policies.
