PNY Technology, the provider of high-performance computing solutions from NVIDIA, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Memory Technology Company (MTC), which will serve as its official distributor in Saudi Arabia, aiming to expand AI computing infrastructure and make it directly available to institutions and companies within the Kingdom. This move comes to meet the growing demand for advanced AI capabilities in vital sectors such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and transportation, in line with Vision 2030 goals to diversify the economy and establish the Kingdom as a regional hub for innovation and technological development.
The cooperation focuses on making the NVIDIA DGX Spark system and the new generation of GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture available, to equip workstations, development stations, data centers and servers with advanced processing power. The DGX Spark system represents a new direction for infrastructure, combining compact design with powerful computational capabilities without the operational complexities typical of ultra-large systems. The system relies on the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which integrates a high-performance central processor based on the Arm architecture with twenty cores and graphics processing capabilities of the Blackwell architecture, together with advanced networking and NVIDIA’s integrated software stack.
This design makes the system especially suitable for universities, research labs and corporate innovation teams that require high-performance computing without the space and complex equipment needed for massive data centers. According to the agreement details, MTC will play a central role in deploying Spark systems across academic, research and corporate environments in Saudi Arabia, as well as providing technical support, commercial expertise and strategic consulting to entities that adopt Blackwell processor systems in server and professional workstation environments.
Nour Al-Tabaa, head of MTC in Saudi Arabia, explained that the Kingdom’s commitment to digital transformation paves the way for bringing the world’s most advanced AI technologies directly to the local market, confirming that the combination of PNY hardware with her company’s local presence will enable partners to have the computing capacity needed to build, train and deploy AI models locally.Making advanced hardware available through local agents shifts AI investment from distant clouds to stable computing centers within institutional boundaries.
From an analytical standpoint, this alliance touches the core technical decisions of engineering teams and organizations in the Gulf, giving technology leaders a genuine alternative to long waits in external supply chains or exclusive reliance on overseas rented clouds. If you lead an AI development team in a bank, a healthcare facility or an academic research lab, the arrival of integrated systems like DGX Spark and Blackwell processors in the local market means the ability to run high-performance computing within the same premises, reducing response time, lowering the cost of managing large servers, and supporting compliance with data sovereignty and local protection requirements.
