Faraday Future Expands Its Embodied AI Robotics Push in the Gulf

Faraday Future announced on July 7, 2026, that its regional arm, FF Mobility Trading in the UAE, continues to develop a commercial strategy for embodied AI robotics through cooperation frameworks in the UAE and Gulf, and potentially across the wider Middle East and North Africa. The company says the work includes memoranda with the Chinese Entrepreneurs General Association and Action To Action, as well as potential cooperation with UAE-based Ibtikar Robotics.
According to the statement, the potential frameworks cover distribution and leasing channels, educational resources, joint project delivery, technical support and after-sales services. Possible applications span education, hospitality, retail, healthcare, smart cities and public infrastructure. Faraday Future describes itself as a US Physical AI company and says the region is important to the global commercialisation of robotics because of its focus on AI, smart cities and automation.
The lens: Economic transformation The story is less about a specific robot than an attempt to turn the Gulf into a testing and deployment market for enterprise robotics. If these frameworks succeed, the region could move from purchasing demonstrations to building local distribution and service channels, an essential layer for adoption at scale.
